You will take the responsibility as accounting officer for all of our legal entities across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. You will work closely with the CFO, financial planner & analyst teams, accounting partners, group’s accounting shared services center (SSC), and business unit’s leaders. You responsibility includes:
ENSURE RELIABLE ACCOUNTING
Record, control and report transactions in the area of responsibility.
Managing the month closing tasks and assuring the local and group deadlines are respected.
Ensure communication, documentation and risk mitigating actions to support internal and external audit in the area of responsibility.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts, explain variations and ensure timely resolution and clean up of overdue items.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and financial statements validation.
Take on and oversee special accounting topics according to local standards and/or IFRS.
Ensure good financial reporting based on a very good understanding of data (master data).
Appropriate, apply and follow up the group and local accounting and compliance norms.
IMPROVE THE PROCESS
Actively design internal processes in the area of responsibility, document and communicate to the stakeholders.
Contribute to constant improvement of the processes in the area of responsibility (efficiency, automation).
Organize, improve and secure the KPIs of specific subprocesses in the area of responsibility.
Provide the necessary alerts for business risks (fraud, compliance) and associated mitigating controls.
Consult, bring transparency to business stakeholders on financial KPIs, figures and processes (finance data oriented).
Preparing various reports for the CFO and stores.
Participate in the payment process in the assigned area.
WHO YOU ARE:
Passionate about sports
Very good English command in writing and speaking.
At least 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, tax, or auditing.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
Strong accounting (GL, AP, AR) and local GAAP knowledge.
Great analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting process and internal control principles.
Ability to manage deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment.
Master the job in Excel/Spreadsheet.
Good attention to details and numerical ability.
Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, autonomous and focus on action.
Starting salary for this position is from 1600 euro/mon. gross + monthly bonus, the final offer will be based on the candidate's experience.
